- Place the drill on the tape and with the slightest of pressure, proceed to drill the hole. We advise using a drill bit of 1/8 to 3/32-inch.
- Once the base is set, you can remove the tape. Add drops of lubricant if the point of contact looks too dry.
- You will need to take breaks in between the process. Working on it continuously leads to unwanted heating that causes it to crack or break. Blow out excess dust around the hole occasionally.
- Once you reach the halfway point, free the glass and flip it over. Continue the same process on the other side. We do this to make even holes on both sides.
- Post-completion, use sandpaper to smoothen out the rough surfaces. Glass is sharp, uneven surfaces can lead to cuts later.
